Letter to Philip Schuyler regarding a rumor that Hogeboom was collecting on Schuyler's obligations. Hogeboom claims that Mr. Vischer has Schuyler's obligations and that he never collected any of Schuyler's obligations. Written at Hudson, N.Y.

Philip John Schuyler (November 20 [O.S. November 9] 1733 – November 18, 1804) was an American general in the Revolutionary War and a United States Senator from New York.
